I got 55 water troughs on the farm. What's the best way?

I make a siphone with 3m yard hose to empty the trough.Leave it and go clean up the other troughs so the trough is almost empty and ready to be cleaned when you come back.Don't forget to shut the ballcock:)

There are some machine-powered options that wouldn't cost you much if you already have got an water blaster.

I just watched the video. good idea. but wouldn't it better to use milk pump? easier to carry? Just a thought.

I find it difficult to siphon, but that's how I clean the water troughs, too.

3m yard hose? the blue one?

A milk pump would do the job,but probably you have to carry the power generator along with it to clean the troughs located away from the cow shed, also have to look for the way to keep the float upwards! As to siphon I normaly use the 32mm yard hose but it depends on the size of the trough and how quick you want it empty the trough.

I suck at siphoning.  Some of the water troughs on the farm are the way higher than the ground.
