Wonder how much penalty you get when you have penicillin in the vat.
Penalty when you forget to shut the vat
Depends on the milk company and how high the reading and if you've done it before but a lot.
Can be upwards of 25% of your payout for the remainder of the season. Also if they dont catch it at the gate and just dump the whole tanker at your cost, it can get as far as the silo and they'll dump the entire silo (a good couple hundred thousand litres at worst) and make you pay for it all. I've seen guys get hit for $80-90,000 for a single pickup
I heard some managers putting penicillin milk on purpose if the volume of the milk is big. It may dilute?? I have never done it myself, I am too scared to try.
What do you think?
