First detect whether that diarrhea is infectious or nutritional and apply the right intervention.

How to manage that calf:-

- Add biomass during mixing of your cmr.

-Reduce amount of milk you give to that calf depending on your feeding guide.

- use supportive treatment ( anti biotics like Norodine, syvoquinol, and kera).

-Rehydrate the calf with electrolytes, yoghurt,or colostrum.

- Give that calf ringer lactate together with sodium bicarbonate to balance pH if it ispassing stool too much. Monitor it for 3 to 5 days, it will be better.

Is this yogurt the same as how people eat? or do you make a special yogurt for calves?

Anna, true the very yogurt people eat. How it is served:- warm / heat it first, ( dip a yogurt packet or jerrycan or any container  in warm water incase has been frozen), dilute it with clean warm water and feed calf. Eg if I want to serve calf 2 litres using stomach tube container, 1.5 litres will be water, the rest toppedup with yoghurt.Note: yoghurt can be more than water and viceversa depending on how the calf is scouring.

Yoghurt shouldnot be fed at same time with milk or after giving calf milk. You can choose to give it yoghurt in morning feeding time and later milk in second afternoon feeding time.
